Senate Democratic Leader Malcolm A. Smith (D-St. Albans) will be joined by local elected officials and community organizations as they re-open the Red Fern Community Center. The center will offer residents, especially the youth, recreational programs during the summer months. This initiative is a part of Operation S.N.U.G. and was largely due to community outcry following the fatal shooting of 15-year old Brandon Bethea.
