State Senate Democratic Conference Introduces Mortgage Foreclosure Moratorium, Reform Legislation

The State Senate Democratic Conference will hold a news conference to demand passage of bipartisan foreclosure moratorium legislation to help combat the subprime mortgage crisis. The Conference will also call for immediate assistance to homeowners facing foreclosure as well as tougher laws to protect consumers from predatory mortgage lending practices.
