Secures $65,000 Grant For Computers & Smart Boards

Senator Bill Larkin (R-C, Cornwall-on-Hudson) has secured a grant in the amount of $65,000 for the Cornwall Central School District to upgrade its technology infrastructure and classroom computer hardware.

The funding will be used to improve and create additional computer workstations in labs throughout the school district including the purchase of computers and smart boards. It will also help to upgrade the technology infrastructure in various buildings including the installation of electronic switches and servers.

"The administration and faculty of the Cornwall Central School District are working hard to provide classrooms with the most innovative technologies available," said Senator Larkin. "I was very pleased to obtain this funding for the district because it will allow the students to access the most up-to-date resources, and to have the academic experiences that colleges and businesses are telling us that graduates entering the workforce need."
