Buffalo, NY- New York State Senator Antoine M. Thompson (D-Parts of Erie & Niagara Counties) will be holding a press conference with Mayor Byron Brown. He will be announcing $300,000 in funding for infrastructure repairs to Ring Road in Delaware Park. The press conference will be held tomorrow, September 22, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Delaware park entrance to the zoo on Ring Road.
“Ring Road in Delaware Park is in desperate need of resurfacing,” stated Senator Thompson. “I am happy to be able to secure funding for these repairs so that everyone that comes to Delaware Park can enjoy their experience.”
The invited guests for this funding announcement include: Mayor Byron Brown, the Olmsted Park Conservancy, Erie County Legislator Lynn Marinelli, Delaware District Councilmember Michael LoCurto, the Department of Public Works and members of Checkers Running Club.
