Grand Island, NY – Today at 2:00 pm New York State Senator Antoine M. Thompson (D-Parts of Erie & Niagara Counties) will present a check to Grand Island schools for $40,000 at the disctrict office located at 1100 Ransom Road in Grand Island.
“I’m happy to be able to secure funding for the Grand Island School District,” said Senator Thompson. “This funding will provide students with an enriched educational experience.”
Senator Thompson will present a check for $40,000 to Superintendent Robert Christmann. $35,000 will be used for Project Lead and the remaining $5,000 will go to enhancements to the physical education department.
