Senator Thompson To Hold Holiday Toy Give-Away In Niagara Falls, Tonawanda, and Buffalo

Buffalo, NY – New York State Senator Antoine M. Thompson (D-Parts of Erie & Niagara Counties) will host his annual toy give-away for children in the 60th District. The event will take place tomorrow, December 19, 2009 in Niagara Falls, Tuesday, December 22nd in Tonawanda and Wednesday, December 23rd in Buffalo.
“Every year, the toy give-away is very successful,” said Senator Thompson. “I am hoping that this year, due to the poor economy, we will be able to help a larger number of families to provide their children with quality holiday gifts,” said Senator Thompson.
Donations for this event were received from several individuals and companies including; Project Flight, Mr. Tony Blackmon, Ms. Blanch LoCurto, Mr. Robert Guarino, Tops Friendly Markets, Ms. Mary Baty and residents of Baptist Manor, Target, White Arrow Trucking Co., Mattel, Scholastic, Inc., New Era Caps, Keep Western New York Beautiful, Fisher Price and the Buffalo Police Athletic League.
All families have been pre-registered.
