Senator Thompson Holds Veterans Day Parade In Buffalo

Buffalo, NY- New York State Senator Antoine M. Thompson (D-Parts of Erie & Niagara Counties) will host a Veterans Day Parade in Buffalo. The parade will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2009.
Lineup will begin at 9:00 am in the parking lot of the American Red Cross, located at 786 Delaware Avenue. The parade will then begin at 10:00 am.
The parade route begins at Summer and Delaware Avenue proceeding down Delaware following the natural traffic flow and will end in Niagara Square across from City Hall wherein there will be a brief ceremony. Any group interested in marching in the parade should contact JoAnn Cole or Zachary Sadler in the Buffalo office at 716-854-8705 for registration information.
If your group is unable to participate, please come out and show your support. Volunteers from Senator Thompson’s office will be collecting toiletries during the parade in support of our troops. We are looking for soap, lotion, toothpaste and deodorant for both men and women.
