Senator Thompson Sponsors 8th Annual Job Fair

Buffalo, NY- NYS Senator Antoine M. Thompson (D-Parts of Erie & Niagara Counties), will be sponsoring his 8^th Annual Employment Opportunity Fair on Friday, May 22 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Buffalo Employment and Training Center located at 77 Goodell Street.

“Many people are in need of jobs right now and this job fair is a great way to connect the community with employment opportunities,” said Senator Thompson.

This year’s job fair will include in excess of thirty employers and five hundred job openings.  Employment categories will include job in fields such as: healthcare, higher education, collections, green undustry, contracting, cleaning, summer jobs, Mayor’s summer youth, customer service, compliance, civil service, banking, media, federal jobs, state jobs, vocational, union prep, community based, legal and food service.
