Community Meeting - Senator Perkins Reports out on the court decision
regarding the recent court ruling involving  Columbia University

During this meeting Senator Perkins will report to the community what has
happened since the Court ruling on ESDC's Use of Eminent Domain in the
Columbia University Manhattanville Development Project. Present will be
persons from the affected areas; Nick Sprayreagen, The Singh Family,  Dan
Goldstein- Atlantic Yards Project and Willets Point Representatives.

This meeting is the precursor to the January 5th 2010 Public Hearing on
Eminent Domain, Empire State Development Corporation and Columbia
University.

During this Saturday's meeting the Senator will report on his letter to the
Governor asking for a moratorium on Eminent Domain and his request that
ESDC not pursue an appeal of the Appellate Court Decision. In addition
Senator Perkins will announce his plans to initiate legislation regarding
eminent domain.

Although, there will be a question and answer period there is not a formal
testimony portion of this meeting. Testimony will be taken on January 5,
2010.
