State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) announced that the New York State Senate recently passed a legislative resolution he sponsored honoring Wantagh resident Christopher Michael Pierce for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.

“Becoming an Eagle Scout is an exceptional achievement which only a select few ever receive. Through hard work, dedication, and commitment to service, Christopher has proven himself worthy of this high honor. I was pleased to sponsor this resolution so that Christopher’s accomplishments could be recognized by the entire New York State Senate,” said Senator Fuschillo.

Christopher, a member of Troop 96, attained the rank of Eagle Scout after many years of hard work and completing an Eagle Scout project. Christopher organized a child safety fingerprinting event with the Town of Hempstead at St. Frances De Chantal Church for his Eagle Scout project.

With the Senate passage of the legislative resolution, Christopher’s name and achievement will forever be in the history books as part of the New York State Senate’s official record.
