Senator Fuschillo Invites Families to Participate in His “Summertime Reading Program”

State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8^th Senate District) is inviting parents to have their children participate in his “Summertime Reading Program” as a way to promote reading during the summer months.

The program is open to all elementary school students. Children who participate in the program need to read at least three books during the summer months, and write a description of them in the “Summertime Reading Journal.” After the record book is completed and signed by a parent, children can mail it to Senator Fuschillo’s office and receive an official Senate certificate for completing the program.
