State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) is reminding all current and prospective small business owners about his 2009 Small Business Networking Expo on Thursday, May 28th. The Small Business Networking Expo will be held between 4:30 and 6:30 pm at the Seaford Knights of Columbus, which is located at 2183 Jackson Avenue in Seaford.
Senator Fuschillo’s Small Business Networking Expo enables small business owners and residents looking to start their own business to speak directly with government and non-profit agencies about how they can help their small business grow or get off the ground. These agencies will provide information about accessing capital, getting a small business loan, and writing a business plan. Representatives from local chambers of commerce will also be on hand to talk about the different business opportunities within their respective communities.
The event also offers participants great opportunities to network with each other, to promote their business, and exchange information and ideas. Hundreds of people attended Senator Fuschillo’s 2008 Small Business Networking Expo last September.
“The Small Business Networking Expo is a great way for small business owners to learn how to develop their business and network with other local small business owners at the same time. I hope that all local small business owners will attend this event on May 28th,” said Senator Fuschillo.
Residents interested in attending Senator Fuschillo’s Small Business Networking Expo on May 28th should call Senator Fuschillo’s office at 516-882-0630 to RSVP or if they need additional information.
