Senator Craig M. Johnson and Liz Kase Johnson Announce the Birth of Daughter Lucy

Senator Craig M. Johnson and his wife, Liz Kase Johnson, welcome the newest addition to their family. 

Lucy Harper Johnson came into this world at 5:13 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009 at North Shore University Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs., 12 ounces, and measured 20 inches long. 

“Liz and I want to thank everyone for the support and well wishes we have received during this very exciting time for our family,” Senator Johnson said. “We are truly blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people. We especially want to thank the entire staff at North Shore University Hospital, in particular the delivery team led by Dr. Victor Klein.” 

Lucy is the Johnsons' third child. She has two brothers, Ben, age 7, and Sam, age 4. 

Senator Johnson represents the 7th Senate District in north western Nassau County. He and his family live in Port Washington.
