Senator Johnson Teams with Coats for Kids

Senator Craig M. Johnson (D-Nassau) is teaming with Coats for Kids Inc. to help make sure that no child goes cold this winter.
Between now and Jan. 1, Senator Johnson will be collecting new and gently used winter coats at his District Office, 151 Herricks Road, Suite 202, Garden City Park, between 9 a.m .and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Pick-ups can also be arranged.
“Our goal is to collect 2,000 coats,” Senator Johnson said. “Especially in these tough economic times, I am proud to partner with this very worthy organization to help our fellow Long Island families during these cold winter months. I encourage everyone who is able to assist us to join in this effort."
Adult-sized coats will also be accepted during the drive.
