Senator’s Hotline Makes Office More Accessible to Non English-Speaking Constituents
New York, NY – State Senator Daniel Squadron joined with Chinatown leaders today to announce the opening of a new Chinese-language hotline for his office. The hotline will give Mandarin and Cantonese-speaking residents of the 25th district an opportunity to access the Senator’s office more directly and conveniently.
"By providing a Chinese-language hotline, we move one step closer to making state government accessible to everyone it serves. I hope the residents of my district will use the hotline to communicate with me about their needs and concerns.”
The hotline number is 917-254-3138 and will be open Monday-Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM. The opening of the hotline is the latest step in the Senator’s ongoing initiative to make his office open and accessible to all residents of the 25th Senate district. In addition to the new Chinese-language hotline, the Senator provides important information and materials in Chinese and Spanish.
