NYS Senators Eric Adams and John Sampson bring toys to children in long-term care at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center; the state senators also pay a condolence call on Nefertiti Martin whose 3-year-old died in a fall from a Crown Heights rooftop

NYS SENATOR ERIC ADAMS AND NYS SENATOR JOHN SAMPSON WILL VISIT KINGSBROOK JEWISH MEDICAL CENTER TO PROVIDE HOLIDAY TOYS FOR CHILDREN IN LONG-TERM CARE UNITS.  THE TWO SENATORS WILL ALSO CALL AT THE HOME OF 3-YEAR OLD KYRAH MARTIN, THE CHILD WHO FELL TO HER DEATH YESTERDAY FROM A CROWN HEIGHTS ROOFTOP.

NYS Senator Eric Adams and NYS Senator John Sampson will bring holiday toys to children in long-term care at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center.  The two state senators are also traveling to 1517 Park Place, Brooklyn, to pay a condolence call on Nefertiti Martin, whose 3-year-old daughter Kyrah died in a fall from a Crown Heights rooftop.

NYS Senator Adams states:

“The manner in which we treat the most vulnerable citizens in our society is the measure of our humanity.  It is vital to remember those less fortunate than ourselves during these troubled economic times.  Children confined to a long-term hospital care unit must be a special focus of our kindness, especially during the holiday season.

“I am extremely proud of the assistance of S & B Cleaning Services, Inc., during this special time of year, a period synonymous with charitable giving.  The generous donation of so many toys will be greatly appreciated; the contribution will make this holiday season a better one for many children at Kingsbrook Jewish.

“Senator Sampson and I will also call at the home of Nefertiti Martin.  The death of her daughter Kyrah is a devastating tragedy.”
