“I invite any family to stop by my office and learn about ways to keep kids safe,” Senator Maziarz said. “This is always a fun event, and with the summer coming up, it’s a good time to put safety first.”
Child Safety Day featured Child ID kits and fingerprinting, car seat safety checks, the K-9 unit from the North Tonawanda Police Department, the mounted patrol from the Niagara County Sheriff’s Department, a fire truck and fire safety robot from Frontier Volunteer Fire Company, and child safety brochures and information. Entertainment was on hand too, including Do-Do the Clown, a bounce house, and refreshments.
