HERKIMER, 06/02/09-- New York State Senator James L. Seward (R/C/I-Oneonta) and Assemblyman Marc Butler (R/C/I-Herkimer) today invited area baseball fans to join them for the Mohawk Valley Diamond Dawgs regular season opener on Friday, June 5th in Little Falls.
“I am excited to see the baseball season get underway for the Diamond Dawgs and look forward to joining their fans at Veterans Memorial Park on Friday night,” said Senator Seward.
Senator Seward will throw out the first pitch as part of the pre-game ceremonies prior to the 7:05 p.m. game vs. the Amsterdam Mohawks, fireworks will follow the game.
Complimentary tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at Senator Seward and Assemblyman Butler’s district office, 235 North Prospect Street, Herkimer.
