“New York must have zero tolerance for domestic violence. Now that Senator Monserrate has been convicted, the Senate must act to remove him. Voters should not have to tolerate convicted criminals sitting in their Senate. Senator Monserrate should resign. If he fails to do so, the Senate should vote to remove him.”
