José M. Serrano
November 25, 2009
The New York State Legislature Joint Advisory Board on the Broadcast of State Government Proceedings will conduct their second public meeting on December 10th. The Board was established to advise on the expansion of the current dedicated legislative television channel. The Advisory Board members have recommended that the television station be modeled after C-SPAN, and they would like your input on how this governmental affairs channel should operate.
Public meetings are being held to discuss the formation of the channel, and the Advisory Board is soliciting public input. Your suggestions will become part of the public testimony on this matter.
Testimony may be submitted via e-mail (gregorygmeyer@gmail.com), fax (212-828-2420) at any point prior to the start of the meeting. The Advisory Board is also accepting YouTube video testimony. Please include a web address (URL) in the body of your e-mail, and limit video testimony to 5 minutes.
