“Today, we learned of the passing of one of our nation’s great leaders, Senator Edward Kennedy. Senator Kennedy was an extraordinary leader and unwavering advocate for healthcare and human rights. His remarkable and sustained efforts on behalf of the vulnerable and otherwise voiceless people gave deep meaning to his decades of public service. My thoughts and prayers are with the Kennedy’s family and friends for his dream shall never die.”
