Senator Golden Urges Brooklyn Residents to Attend Healthy Living Forum

Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) today is encouraging Brooklyn residents to attend a Healthy Living Forum on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Brooklyn College from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event will be held in the Jefferson-Williams Lounge on the 4th Floor of the Brooklyn College Student Center, Campus Road and East 27th Street.
All are encouraged to attend and "Learn About Access to Free Medications for Adults from 18 to 64". The event will also feature numerous presentations, including "Healthy Eating for Healthy Living", "Living with a Chronic Illness with Q & A", "Access Free Medication, Patient Assistance Program Overview with Q & A Patient Assistance Specialist", and a presentation on "The Healthy Partnership Between You and Your Disease".
Senator Marty Golden stated, "I encourage all Brooklynites to attend this event which will feature a variety of important presentations that can influence healthy living among all. There is nothing more important than our personal health, and the health of our families, and this forum will give us a chance to learn how to better take care as we age and as we raise our children and grandchildren."
