“I am grateful for the tremendous response our City agencies, including our Fire Department, our Police, our Buildings, our Office of Emergency Management, our American Red Cross and others have provided to the residents in this time of rescue, recovery and now, as we enter the next phase of rebuilding.
We are blessed in that none of the residents of 6805 Third Avenue, or any of our emergency responders, were severely injured. I stand with the residents to support them and continue to maintain a dialogue with various agencies and the American Red Cross to ensure that these families receive every bit of support and assistance they require. My office and I stand ready to assist them.”
