“Today’s vote in the New York City Council regarding the Armory should clearly send forth the message that the Bronx is pro-business,” said New York State Senate Majority Leader Pedro Espada, Jr. “We know the importance of business in creating jobs and fueling the economy. The Armory vote outcome must not deter us from developing responsible projects that will yield opportunities and benefits for poor, low-income and working families.”
