Abrazo Dominicano in The Bronx In Honor of Celines Toribio, Francis Mendez, and Nelson Valdez

As an precursor to the grand Dominican Parade in The Bronx, in recognition of the contributions of this community’s progress and development throughout New York City, Bronx Borough President, Rubén Díaz, Jr., Senator Rev. Rubén Díaz, Sr., and Assemblyman Marcos Crespo, will be celebrating “Una Noche de Abrazo Dominicano” in The Bronx.
This event “Abrazo Dominicano” will take place Wednesday, July 22 at 8:00 pm at Maestros Catering, located on 1703 Bronxdale Avenue in The Bronx. This year’s event will honor super stars of radio and television Celines Toribio and Francis Mendez as Señor Bolero, and Mr. Nelson Valdez, community organizer and strong advocate of the working people of New York City.
Abrazo Dominicana, has been celebrated for many years and will distinguish individuals from our community with proclamations from the New York State Senate, the Bronx Borough President and the New York State Assembly.
