Bill Thompson to Meet WITH Senator Reverend Ruben Diaz and the New York Hispanic Clergy Organization

On Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 10:00am New York State Senator Reverend Ruben Diaz (D-Bronx) will welcome Bill Thompson as a special guest at a meeting with the New York Hispanic Clergy Organization. This meeting will take place at the Christian Community Neighborhood Church located at 1437 Longfellow Avenue, between Jennings and Freeman Streets in The Bronx.
“The New York Hispanic Clergy Organization is delighted that Bill Thompson will be attending our meeting,” declared Senator Rev. Diaz, President. “We are honored that Bill Thompson will be joining us to sit with our ministers and listen to concerns that impact our community.”
The New York Hispanic Clergy Organization is comprised of more than 150 ministers from the tri-state area. They have met every Thursday for over 20 years to discuss community issues that include senior citizens, education, the census, the environment, family concerns, crime, and quality of life.
