State to Fund Arts and Cultural Projects in Orange County

(ALBANY) New York State Senator Thomas Morahan today announced that the New York State Council on the Arts will be providing $ 18,230 in grants for cultural programs in Orange County.
The following organizations have been approved for project funding:
Dancing Crane, Inc., located in Warwick $6, 230
Sound Directions, Inc., located in Warwick $12, 000
In announcing the state grants, Heather A. Hitchens, Executive Director of the NYS Council on the Arts praised the Senator for his role in supporting cultural projects & arts organizations. “With your support, the New York State Council on the Arts continues to play a central role in nurturing and sustaining arts and cultural organizations across the state through grantmaking and technical assistance. Thank you for all that you do to cultivate strong arts organizations in your district and in the state,” said Hitchens.
