New York State Senator Bill Stachowski Secures $300,000 Grant on Behalf of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra

NEW YORK STATE SENATOR BILL STACHOWSKI SECURES $300,000 GRANT ON BEHALF OF THE BUFFALO PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA

BUFFALO, NEW YORK – Members of the Board of Trustees and management from the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra gathered at Kleinhans Music Hall on Tuesday, August 25th, to thank New York State Senator William Stachowski for securing a $300,000 grant on behalf of the Western New York cultural icon. 

“I am proud to have played a small part in the continued success of the famous
Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra through the funding awarded today," said Senator Stachowski. “This orchestra is known worldwide for its excellent performances and musicians. Under the leadership of the BPO’s Board and excellent Musical Director JoAnn Falletta, the BPO has become as much a part of the community as our professional sports teams and historic landmarks. It is my hope that this funding plays a role in ensuring that the BPO continues to prosper in our community for many years to come.”

“Speaking on behalf of the musicians, we are humbled by the generosity of this support by Senator Stachowski,” BPO Musical Director JoAnn Falletta said.  “It allows us to continue our mission of attaining the highest level of artistic integrity in everything we do as an internationally renowned orchestra.”
