Thompson Works To Bring Change To The North District. "Creating Positive Change."

Buffalo, NY – The Black Rock and Riverside communities are preparing for major changes and New York State Antoine M. Thompson ( D-parts of Erie & Niagara Counties) is lending a hand.  Thompson is hosting a North District Housing and Community Redevelopment Forum to address concerns of the people who live there.

Senator Thompson has invited guest from the following organizations:
• New York State Department of Housing & Community Renewal (NYSDHCR)
• City of Buffalo Office of Strategic Planning
• Empire State Development Corporation
• Black Rock – Riverside Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc.

These speakers will talk about funding and other resources to support community redevelopment projects, housing and small business development.  The forum will offer community leaders and stakeholders better access to resources offered by the State of New York.
