Renovated historic building new home to growing provider of finance and procurement solutions
Glens Falls, NY – Joined by a host of local business leaders and elected officials, Aeon Nexus today cut the ribbon on its new headquarters in downtown Glens Falls. Aeon Nexus a leading finance and procurement solutions information technology company is relocating from Washington DC and rapidly expanding operations looking to add over a dozen information technology professionals at its new location.
Omar Usmani, Solutions Director for Aeon Nexus said, “In an economy that relies more on connectivity than anything else, technology companies like Aeon Nexus are looking to move to areas that provide a better quality of life for their employees. Glens Falls offers a higher quality of living with access to a downtown positioned conveniently at the foothills of the Adirondacks and Lake George Region. “ He added , “When you combine the benefits of living here with the tremendous assistance we have received from local, state and federal officials to move our business to the area and you have an easy decision to relocate.”
Congressman Scott Murphy said, “On behalf of the people of the 20th District, I’d like to welcome Aeon Nexus to our community. They are bringing new, good-paying jobs to our area and helping to continue to revitalize downtown Glens Falls.”
“It’s great to welcome a new employer to Glens Falls, especially a high-tech firm that has a very bright future,” said Senator Betty Little. “Aeon Nexus offers an innovative procurement process that will help municipalities and school districts save money. So, we not only see the benefit of new jobs in Glens Falls, but the savings of tax dollars across the state.”
Assemblywoman Teresa Sayward said,” I am so pleased to see that downtown Glens Falls is continuing to flourish and grow. Aeon Nexus will be an important addition to our region and another sign of our ongoing economic development.”
