Senator Foley Asks Community Members to Nominate Outstanding Teachers for 2010 Teacher Recognition Award

State Senator Brain X. Foley (D – Blue Point) unveiled the 2010 Teacher Recognition Award and encouraged residents of the 3^rd Senatorial District to participate in celebrating outstanding teachers in our community.  

Senator Foley’s office is now accepting nominations honoring teachers who go above and beyond to make a positive impact on the lives of students. 

“Teachers play a unique role in the lives of children and families,” said Senator Brian X. Foley. “I am proud to honor outstanding teachers whose commitment and service have inspired our children to succeed in the classroom and beyond,” said Senator Foley, who serves on the Senate Education Committee
