Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) is informing residents looking for employment about New York State’s Job Bank website, www.laborny.jobs, which provides free services for job seekers.
The website, which is operated by the State’s Department of Labor, offers free services for individuals looking for jobs and for companies seeking to hire new employees.
Job seekers can use the website to search job listings by keyword or location, get alerts about the latest job postings, and post resumes. According to the Department of Labor, over 87,000 positions are listed on the Job Bank website.
In addition, employers can use the site to post job openings and search resumes to find qualified candidates.
