Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) and Assemblyman David McDonough (R-North Merrick) recently visited Mandalay Elementary School in Wantagh to thank students for helping those in need.
The students collected coats for the “Coats for Kids” campaign, which provides coats to those who cannot afford them. All coats collected through the program are cleaned and donated to children and adults in need so that they don’t go cold during the winter months. The Mandalay students collected 24 bags of coats for the program.
