New York State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) recently attended the Kiwanis Club of Merrick’s Installation of Officers Ceremony.

Senator Fuschillo, along with Assemblyman Dave McDonough (R-North Merrick) and Town of Hempstead Councilwoman Angie Cullin, thanked outgoing Kiwanis Club President Tammy McLoughlin for her service and offered their congratulations on a job well done. Senator Fuschillo, Assemblyman McDonough, and Councilwoman Cullin also offered their best wishes for success to incoming President Arlene Gregory for a successful term of office.

Since its establishment in 1949, the Kiwanis Club of Merrick has worked hard to improve the lives of children and members of the community. They have undertaken numerous community service projects, such as providing scholarships to local students, giving school supplies to children in need, and collecting and delivering food to families in need.
