Senator Fuschillo Congratulates Massapequa Fire Department on 100 Years of Community Service

New York State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) recently helped recognize the 100th anniversary of the Massapequa Fire Department when he attended the 6th Battalion Parade which was held on Broadway in Massapequa. 

Senator Fuschillo, along with Congressman Peter King, Assemblyman Joe Saladino, Nassau County Legislator Peter Schmitt, Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto, Oyster Bay Town Clerk Steve Labriola, and Oyster Bay Councilman Joe Muscarella, congratulated the members of the Fire Department on their milestone anniversary and thanked them for their service to the community. 

“For over 100 years the men and women of the Massapequa Fire Department have voluntarily put their lives on the line to keep our community safe. I am pleased to congratulate them on reaching this milestone and thank all the department’s volunteer fighters, past and present, for their service to the communities of Massapequa and Massapequa Park,” said Senator Fuschillo.
