Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) recently honored Cathy O’Malley for being named Small Business Person of the Year by the Merrick Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. O’Malley, a Vice-President for First National Bank of Long Island, is deeply involved in the community. She serves as Treasurer of the Merrick Chamber of Commerce, and has played an integral role in the planning and execution of many Chamber events. In addition, she serves as Vice-President of the Merrick Kiwanis Club, a community service organization which provides assistance to those in need.
