The New York State Senate overwhelmingly approved a resolution today (February 9th) calling on President Obama and the U.S. Attorney General to move the trials of terrorists involved in the 9/11 attacks.
State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I - Schenectady) was one of several Senators on both sides of the aisle to speak in support of this resolution.
The federal government has been planning to hold these trials in New York City. However, numerous government officials and residents of New York State have expressed concerns and objections to this plan.
