As the 2010-2011 school year approaches, students and families in our district have important financial decisions to make. Financing a college education can be a challenge filled with many questions and concerns. The New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC), as the State's student financial aid agency, can provide helpful information and application forms. HESC's database allows students and parents to explore careers, apply for financial aid, search colleges and compare college financing information faster and more efficiently.
The HESC continues to offer students and families in our district the resources to help pay for college - making paying for college easier and more accessible. The website provides links to financial aid applications including the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) for New York State residents. For a one stop resource of information on grant and scholarship opportunities, as well as financial aid applications, please visit www.hesc.com.
