Senator Klein gives $20,000 grant to Lehman High School to be used for a mobile computer lab
NEW YORK- On Friday, March 5th, Senator Jeff Klein (D-Bronx/Westchester) presented a $20,000 grant to Lehman High School. The money will be used to create a mobile computer lab, bringing Lehman High School into the 21st century. Currently, the school has one computer lab and teachers must sign up in advance to use it. Because it’s in high demand, teachers usually only get to use the lab once or twice a year. Klein’s grant will be used to purchase two laptop carts that will serve as a mobile computer lab, giving students better access to computers at all times
