Senator Klein presented a 50K grant at Morris Park Community Association Dinner Dance
NEW YORK- On Saturday, March 13th, Senator Jeff Klein (D-Bronx/Westchester) presented a $50,000 grant to the Morris Park Community Association during its annual dinner dance.
The money will be used to support several senior programs, including the association’s nightly citizen patrols. Each patrol consists of 2-4 volunteers who drive around in cars every night, looking for suspicious activity. If they see something suspicious, they call 9-1-1. Klein’s grant will also be used for daily senior field trips and Morris Park’s annual holiday lights that line Morris Park Avenue.
