Senator John DeFrancisco Named a Guardian of Small Business
The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has named Senator John DeFrancisco a 2010 Guardian of Small Business for his consistent support on issues that affect small businesses.
"Over these past two years, Senator John DeFrancisco has distinguished himself as a tireless fighter for small business and taxpayers." said Mike Elmendorf, NFIB/New York State Director. "Senator DeFrancisco has been a leading voice in opposition to the reckless, job-killing tax and spend policies that have been embraced by the current Majorities of both houses of the Legislator, standing up for job creators time and time again. We are proud to recognize Senator DeFrancisco’s leadership by honoring him as a Guardian of Small Business," Elmendorf continued.
Senator John DeFrancisco said, "I am honored to have been named a Guardian of Small Business by the National Federation of Independent Business. I have always been a voice for Central New York’s small businesses in the Senate, and I am happy that NFIB has recognized this and honored me with this prestigious award. Small businesses are vital to stimulating our economy and creating jobs for our workforce and I will continue to fight to make Central New York a place for small businesses to prosper."
