H1N1 Flu Vaccine Clinics
Four H1N1 clinics have been scheduled. Clinics are open to all Monroe County residents 6 months of age and older. There is no charge for the vaccination.
Clinics:
- Tuesday, January 12, 11 am - 8 pm
- Dome Center, 2695 East Henrietta Road
- First Bible Baptist Church, 990 Manitou Road, Greece
- Thursday, January 14, 11 am - 8 pm
- Dome Center, 2695 East Henrietta Road
- Monday, January 18, 11 am - 6 pm
- Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial (parking will be validated at the Civic Center Garage)
- We have adequate vaccine for each of these clinics so there is no reason for people to arrive hours early. Doing so results in long lines for the rest of the day. While we will do our best to get people indoors we recommend dressing warmly in the event a line forms outdoors.
The New York State Department of Health is operating a 24/7 staffed H1N1 Hotline at (800) 808-1987. An additional resource in our community has been implemented by our local 911 agency. A recording with multiple messages provides useful information pertaining to the symptoms of flu, what steps people should take if sick with the flu, and locations of 24-hour pharmacies. The number is (585) 500-H1N1 (4161). Also available in Spanish.
