Senator Robach encourages you to attend Shredding Day on Wednesday May 5th. Between 9:00a.m. until 2:00p.m., you can take advantage of free shredding services at Classified Shredding Services, located at 425 Paul Road. For all the details, click here.
The New York State Consumer Protection Board kicks off its third season of Shred the Word events. The CPB’s Shred the Word program brings together local businesses to provide free shredding services for consumers and community activists. The shredded material is later recycled and processed into paper products, which is beneficial to consumers and the environment. Cross shredding documents containing personal identifiable information is one of the best defenses against identity theft. Since the program was launched in 2008, more than 17 tons of documents have been shredded and later recycled.
