Senator Lavalle Celebrates WITH Children’s Museum of the East End

Senator Kenneth P. LaValle (far right) visited the Children’s Museum of the East End’s (CMEE) 2^nd Annual “Under the Sea” Summer Family Fair where (l-r) museum Director Steve Long, Pirate Ryan O’Toole, and Mermaid Lauren O’Toole were happy to strike a pose with the Senator. 

CMEE began as a pilot project in 1997, and has been stirring the  imaginations of children ever since.  The interactive exhibits encourage learning about the East End with themes that include agriculture, fishing, world celebrations, and community.
