“I am extremely disappointed at the closing of three schools in the borough of Queens without adequate parental input or sufficient opportunity for the community to be heard. It is a tremendous loss for students in Queens and I hope to be able to work with the mayor and chancellor to prevent this from happening again. I also look forward to having new schools open to replace the ones that closed."
