Martin J. Golden
December 29, 2010
There is such a great demand for blood in our community and in our City reports indicate that every three seconds, someone needs blood. With the inclement weather donations are down making the need even greater. I would like to urge those eligible to donate blood to help their fellow New Yorkers in their time of need. . Please contact the New York Blood Center at 800-933-2566 or visit www.nybloodcenter.org to find a location near you to make a donation. You can also contact the Coney Island Hospital Blood Bank at 718-616-4460 or at http://www.coneyislandhospital.com/service.php?SIID=119
