Important Message from Senator Golden - Update from the MTA Regarding R Train Service this Weekend

This is to advise you that there will be no R service in Brooklyn for the upcoming weekend of Saturday, June 5 and Sunday, June 6. This planned track outage will accommodate several subway projects including work on the 86th Street R Station at 4th Avenue.
R service will operate between Whitehall Street, Manhattan and 71 Avenue, Queens.
Free shuttle buses will operate between 95th Street and 36th Street, making stops at 95th, 86th, 77th, Bay Ridge Ave, 59th, 53rd, 45th and 36th Streets. Customers can transfer between the shuttle bus and N trains at 59th, 53rd, 45th, or 36th Streets. The N operates via the R line through Lower Manhattan and local between DeKalb Avenue and 59th Street all weekend. Shuttle bus stops are marked with yellow "shuttle bus" signs.
