Senator Golden to Honor Local Leaders in Celebration of Greek Heritage

Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C, 22nd District) is announcing that he will be honoring local leaders at a celebration of Greek Heritage in Brooklyn.

Senator Golden will also be recognizing the long standing contributions of the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church to the greater Bay Ridge community.

The honorees to be recognized are as follows:

Basil Capetanakis, Merchant and Civic Leader, Former Member of Community Board 10

Stella Kokolis, Educator and Founder and President of Hellenic American Teachers Federation

Former member of Community Board 10

Zoe Koutsoupakis, Vice President, Marathon Bank and Civic Leader

Dr. Michael Gabriel, Sr.

Dr. Konstantinos Koutelos

Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church

The Greek Heritage Independence Day Parade will march down 5th Avenue in Manhattan on Sunday, April 18, 2010.
