Senator Golden to Host Marine Park Town Hall Meeting Focused on Public Utilities and Energy

Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden is announcing that he will be hosting a town hall meeting with a focus on energy delivery on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Intermediate School 278, Marine Park Junior High School, located at 1925 Stuart Street in Brooklyn.
Senator Golden has invited the participation of the following agencies to attend the meeting and address individuals concerns with representatives of Con Edison, Verizon, the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, and the New York City Department of Environmental Protection.
Senator Golden will be updating the community on his recent legislative efforts as well as ongoing projects in the community. Senator Golden and his staff will be providing important community information for those in attendance as well.
Senator Golden stated, “Residents have recently asked that I bring together a forum where we can discuss our public utilities and our energy services. I look forward to welcoming the participation of the residents of Marine Park, Gerritsen Beach, and Sheepshead Bay at my upcoming town hall to address the issues that matter the most as we try to keep our communities strong. Let’ work together to keep our neighborhood strong.”
