State Senator Marty Golden (R, C, I - Brooklyn) and Assemblywoman-elect Nicole Malliotakis (R, C - Staten Island/Bay Ridge) today celebrated the holiday season with children from Lutheran Medical Center's Magical Years Early Childhood Center. The two legislators donated bins full of toys from their holiday toy drive. The toys were donated by members of the Bay Ridge Center for Older Adults and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church.
"I was overwhelmed by the amount of toys donated. The bins were literally overflowing with gifts," said Malliotakis. "This is yet another example of the generosity that makes me so proud to be a part of this community. I am pleased to work with Senator Golden and our community organizations to make this is a special holiday for Brooklyn's children."
Senator Marty Golden stated, “I am glad to have been joined by Assemblywoman-elect Nicole Malliotakis at the Magical Years Early Childhood Center of Lutheran Medical Center so to brighten up the holidays for the youth of our community. The toys we brought to the children were met with great smiles and happiness at this most wonderful time of the year.”
